Where in the World is Andersons Alpacas?

This will be an interesting weekend:   Andersons Alpacas will be bi-local! We are attending both the VAOBA Expo and My Manakin HOLIDAYMarket!

Bob is bringing ICE BOY and JOHNNY FLEECE to VAOBA (Fri., Sat., & Sun.). They will each enter their respective halter classes and compete for ribbons. ICE BOY will compete in a Suri class. JOHNNY FLEECE will compete in a Huacaya class. Johnny’s fleece is a dark creamy brown, so dense and crimpy! We have high expectations of him. Ice is a strapping young male whose suri fleece falls from his back in beautiful, shiny, ringlets.  He is a multi, mostly dark fawn with a significant amount of white. I see a ribbon in his future!  I have to get updated pictures of these boys and post them as soon as I can.

While Bob will be at the Expo, I will be at the Market. I am bringing our alpaca products to the My Manakin HOLIDAYMarket (Sat. 10-4). We have some new products to share. Our customers have asked for fingerless gloves and kids items. We are happy to report that we will bring both! And we will also try out a new, sporty headband. The Mo’s Art Fiber Art elves have been busy making new seasonal table runners and minkee scarves, as well.  We have some Poinsettia fabric and double-long runners for your holiday table. I will get pictures of these posted by Friday (I hope) .

We look forward to seeing you!

Hmmm… Andersons Alpacas will be in two places at once for the first time!  Let’s see who gets the AAVA sign 🙂
